What is Takipsilim?
Takipsilim means twilight in Tagalog, one of the main languages of the Philippines.
Why did you choose Takipsilim as your brand's name?
Takipsilim can be considered as sunset, a moment where our busy days end and a moment where we give time to ourselves.
I have decided to choose this name for our brand as this is the best time of the day to focus on yourself and the right opportunity to light up our candles to assist you with your chosen hobby to relax- ie.journaling, having shower or bath, doing yoga or Pilates, making intimate time more special and sensual, etc.
Why are your products labelled in Tagalog?
As stressful as it may seem to learn new language, I consider Filipino language as very beautiful and meaningful. I would love to take the opportunity to share and promote the romantic side of our language and culture.

Why we don't have a phone number to contact to?
Due to the nature of my work, there are times where I'm required to work during the night and getting enough sleep is vital prior to attending work.
This is also the reason why I would highly recommend to contact us through email as above because this is regularly monitored.
What are our products made from?
Our candles are made as hand poured soy wax with care and love.
Why are my candles don't look the same?
Each products are handmade and hand poured by me in my parent's humble adobe. As all items are made from scratch, you will still be able to see it's own beautiful flaws and imperfections- (minor discoloration of the wax, slightly off-centered label, tiny markings on the outside of the jar, etc.)
Fright not, they will still engulf and embrace you of their heavenly unique scent as you light their wicks (or not, your choice :) )
Can we pick up our ordered products from your place?
No. Although, for limited time, we are offering to drop off your products free of charge with orders over $100. Please refer to shipping and returns for further information.
Do you offer returns and/or exchange?
We don't provide returns/exchange for change of mind or mistakes. Please refer to shipping and returns for further information.
